Cortex Training London is a training centre specialising in media, event design, technical production and event management

The journey started when Nick Feldman and Adam Savant decided to create some specialist event related courses to train the full-time and freelance staff at pfevents.com. The duo were dissatisfied with the lack of relevant industry related training that was available and decided to take matters into their own hands.

They created specialist courses to teach skills in CAD, 3D design, rigging, live sound, event production, video production, Q-Lab show control and music production skills.  The courses were a great success and after getting enquires from production companies Cortex Training London was born.

Cortex’s tutors and mentors have a long history of working in their respective fields and are keen to share their skills and knowledge. We believe in providing relevant and up-to-date information with real industry and workplace relevance. Cortex Training firmly believe in a holistic approach to education and want to provide people with the necessary skills, knowledge and confidence to be productive and creative or find gainful employment in the events industries.

Events industry focus

We have a selection of unique events industry focused courses that can be used for businesses to train staff with new skills or for freelancers to improve there employability. Our core set of courses has been expanded over the years to include both more technical aspects like AutoCAD and Events Electrics and more production based courses around Artist Liaison, Stage Management and event pre-production. Our introductory courses for anyone with AV technician or venue management responsibilities can be tailor-made around the equipment at your venue and delivered on-site.
