This course is usually run at Oxford House in Bethnal Green, East London.

The course will show participants a range of techniques to aid in delivering confident and engaging presentations, speeches or performances. We will look at how to turn fear and nervousness into advantages, how to tap into the energy of live performance and how to memorise content.

By the end of the course participants will be ready to deliver captivating and convincing presentations that will make any audience sit up and pay attention.

Who it's for

Professional stage performers or those wanting to improve stage presence. People who are nervous about public speaking. Anyone who might need to present an idea or give a speech, and might require a little extra confidence in order to do so.

This course is run by performance poet Jack Houston. Jack has recently performed his work at the Wenlock Poetry Festival, The Poetry Café, Spoken Word London and Bang Said the Gun. With his musical band, Bugeye, he has performed in venues as diverse as The Water Rats and Wembley Arena.
